What are Child Health Management Services?CHMS are clinical interventions which provide valuable treatment and therapies to help prevent long-term disability for children who quality for Medicaid A. At our Bryant and Russellville facilities, we currently provide services for children ages 0-5 years.
Services include physician and nursing services, physical, occupational and speech therapy, nutrition consults and psychological services.
Child Health Management Services are delivered to children who require multiple therapies or treatment and have the most significant medical and developmental diagnoses. There are many different levels of medical-developmental diagnoses which could qualify children for services.
The first step is to verify your child’s Medicaid eligibility and then receive a referral from your child’s primary-care physician requesting an evaluation to determine necessity of services.
